Artist's Statement
When I graduated middle school in my hometown, my grandparents gifted me a binder containing all of the drawings I had made as a little kid over at their house. The doodles and macaroni art and holiday cards I had pointlessly created, they believed to be paramount, and they conserved it all of that time just to deliver it back to me. This act of sincere affection altered my perception of who I really am.

No one is 100% original; our personalities are sculpted by those we surround ourselves with. Making art allowed me to form stronger bonds with my friends, and it gave members of my family another insight into my identity. In turn, those friends and family members guided and inspired be into this career path.
What I had once believed to be mindless crafting back then has become my main drive now. I became an illustrator as a way of communication.
